# Welcome!

## 👋 Welcome to Algo724!

Welcome, and thank you for choosing Algo724! We're excited to help you navigate the world of cryptocurrency trading with our powerful and intuitive automated trading bots.

This manual is your complete guide to the platform. Whether you are taking your first step into algorithmic trading or are an experienced investor, our goal is to provide you with all the information you need to trade confidently and effectively.

Here, you will find everything from setting up your first bot to understanding advanced strategies and performance metrics.

<figure><img src="/files/Gn4QL3Ch2iGyW0fAV7l6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Let's begin your automated trading journey!

# What is Algorithmic Trading?

Don't let the complicated name scare you. At its core, algorithmic trading is simple:

> It's the practice of using a computer program to automatically buy and sell assets for you based on a pre-defined set of rules.

<figure><img src="/files/aKVKSKCZpH3zLFOqSSQE" alt=""><figcaption><p> <em>Let your automated trading bot follow your rules and seize market opportunities 24/7</em></p></figcaption></figure>

Think of a trading bot as your personal assistant who works 24/7. You give it a specific strategy (the "rules"), and it executes that strategy tirelessly, without emotion, day or night.

For example, a simple rule could be: "When the price of Bitcoin drops by 1%, buy $100 worth. When it rises by 1% from where you bought it, sell it."

The bot follows these instructions precisely, allowing you to take advantage of market opportunities even when you're asleep, at work, or on vacation.

# Why Use Algo724 Flagship?

In a market that never sleeps, Algo724 gives you the edge you need. We've designed our platform to be powerful for experts, yet simple for beginners.

<figure><img src="/files/Jhd10a12CovLePKxjT6a" alt=""><figcaption><p>Your all-in-one dashboard for monitoring your automated trading</p></figcaption></figure>

#### Key Advantages:

* **Trade 24/7, Automatically**\
The crypto market is always open. Our bots never need a break, ensuring you never miss a potential opportunity. Set your strategy and let the bot do the work.

* **Remove Emotion from Trading**\
Fear of missing out (FOMO) and panic selling can lead to poor decisions. Our bots are purely logical. They stick to the strategy you define, executing trades based on data and rules, not emotion.

* **Simplified Pro-Level Strategies**\
Grid trading, Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), and other advanced strategies can be complex. We've simplified them into easy-to-launch bots. With just a few clicks, you can deploy a strategy that would otherwise require constant monitoring and manual calculation.

* **Strategies for Every Market Condition**\
As you can see from our "Create Bot" screen, we have bots designed for every scenario:

  * **`Booster`**: For uptrending markets.
  * **`Hedge`**: To profit from bearish (downtrend) markets.
  * **`Fomo`**: To cover both upside and downside.

* **Transparent, Real-Time Tracking**\
Our intuitive dashboard gives you a clear view of your investments. You can easily monitor your running bots, track your Profit and Loss (PNL) in real-time, and review every single transaction the bot makes.

# Connecting on Exchange via API

<figure><img src="/files/SSXJiYMGHpbXRqA0qMSl" alt=""><figcaption><p>Connecting on Exchagne via API</p></figcaption></figure>

To allow our bots to trade on your behalf, you need to connect your exchange account (like Binance) to Algo724. This is done using an API (Application Programming Interface) key, which is a very secure method that grants our platform trading permissions **without** ever exposing your login credentials.

This guide will walk you through creating a secure API key on Binance and connecting it to Algo724.

### Part 1: Get Your Secure IP Whitelist from Algo724

First, we need to get a special list of IP addresses from our platform. This list tells Binance that only requests from Algo724's secure servers are allowed to use your API key, adding a critical layer of security.

1. In the Algo724 platform, navigate to the **Account** tab in the bottom-left menu.

   <figure><img src="/files/WksuK35qkMgyTV8R8EPz" alt="" width="346"><figcaption><p>Navigate to the Account section</p></figcaption></figure>
2. Click the **Connect New** button at the top right.

   <figure><img src="/files/9xRkRRvdxCb8nuxSEytN" alt="" width="309"><figcaption><p>Click Connect New</p></figcaption></figure>
3. A "Connect to exchange" window will pop up. At the top, you will see the **IP White List**. Click the copy icon next to the list of IPs.

<figure><img src="/files/VZkEEK5Q4p7buD9Bjdzw" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>Copy the IP White List. Keep this window open in a tab</p></figcaption></figure>

Keep these IPs saved on your clipboard; you will need them in the next part.

### Part 2: Create a Secure API Key on Binance

Now, let's head over to Binance to create the API key.

1. Log in to your Binance account. Click on your user profile icon, and navigate to the **API Management** section.

   <figure><img src="/files/8ZjIqK1gz3ZCfInJikzb" alt=""><figcaption><p>Navigate to API Management in Binance</p></figcaption></figure>
2. Click the **Create API** button and select **System generated**. Give your API key a memorable label, like `Algo724`, and click **Next**.

   <figure><img src="/files/A6h2MjN9tZKmXhl4QUIb" alt=""><figcaption><p>Choose system-generated API key</p></figcaption></figure>
3. Complete Binance's security verification (2FA, email, etc.).
4. Your key is now created! You will see the **API Key** and a **Secret Key**.

<figure><img src="/files/myp3znGsiq1qIYbjC2O5" alt=""><figcaption><p>Create a new API key</p></figcaption></figure>

> ⚠️ **IMPORTANT:** Your `Secret Key` is only displayed **ONCE**, right after you create it. Copy it immediately and store it somewhere safe. If you lose it, you will have to delete this key and create a new one.

5. Click the **Edit restrictions** button.
6. **Set Key Permissions (Crucial Security Step)**
   * CHECK ☑️ `Enable Spot & Margin Trading`. Our bots need this to place trades.
   * LEAVE UNCHECKED ❌ `Enable Withdrawals`. **NEVER enable withdrawals.** This ensures that even in the worst-case scenario, your funds cannot be moved out of your account.
   * LEAVE UNCHECKED ❌ All other options unless you are an advanced user creating a specific bot (e.g., for Futures).
7. **Set IP Access (Crucial Security Step)**

   * Select the option `Restrict access to trusted IPs only (Recommended)`.
   * Paste the list of IPs you copied from Algo724 into the text box.
   * Click **Confirm**.

   <figure><img src="/files/tdj2G1S0px71dQyJIWEB" alt=""><figcaption><p>Input IP white list</p></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="/files/Bhe62ZPfMxpGoNNC2nxK" alt=""><figcaption><p>Confirm the list</p></figcaption></figure>

5. (✅ Important)Click **Save**. Binance will ask for 2FA verification again.

### Part 3: Enter the API Keys into Algo724

Now for the final step! Let's go back to the Algo724 "Connect to exchange" window.

1. **Account Name**: Give this connection a nickname (e.g., `My Binance Spot`).
2. **Account**: Select `binance` from the dropdown.
3. **AccountType**: Select `spot`.
4. **API key**: Paste the `API Key` from Binance here.
5. **Secret key**: Paste the `Secret Key` you saved from Binance here.
6. Click **CONFIRM**.

   <figure><img src="/files/gIQq90es9KCOVFpf16Z2" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>Fill in your details and new API keys</p></figcaption></figure>

#### Success!

You should now see your new connection in the Account list with a green **ONLINE** status.

<figure><img src="/files/OtaNYtbzdeJeAAu5bCxu" alt=""><figcaption><p>Connection Online</p></figcaption></figure>

Your account is now securely connected, and you are ready to launch your first bot!

# The Dashboard: Your Mission Control

Welcome to your mission control! The Algo724 dashboard is where you'll monitor markets, track your bots, and see your portfolio's performance. It's designed to give you all the information you need at a glance.

Let's break it down into its main components.

<figure><img src="/files/EkCx7TlFan8f9ZQjlw0z" alt=""><figcaption><p>Your main dashboard view, the command center for all your trading activities</p></figcaption></figure>

# Key Terminology (Grid, DCA, Trailing)

As you explore the platform, you'll encounter a few key terms that describe the strategies our bots use. Understanding these concepts is the first step to becoming a master of automated trading.

<figure><img src="/files/Mm59vT9d9polwot7YY3J" alt=""><figcaption><p>Harvest from the market volatility</p></figcaption></figure>

#### Grid Trading

Grid Trading is the core strategy for many of our bots. At its heart, it's very simple:

> **Grid Trading is a strategy that profits from the market's ups and downs (volatility). It works by placing a series of buy and sell orders at predefined intervals, creating a "grid" of trades.**

Think of it like setting up a web of fishing nets at different depths. As the price moves up and down through your grid, the bot automatically executes "buy low" and "sell high" orders, aiming to capture small, consistent profits from the price fluctuations.

* **When it excels**: In sideways or choppy markets where the price bounces within a range.
* **Key Parameters**: `Range` (the upper and lower price for your grid) and `Grid Step` (the distance between each buy/sell order).

#### DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging)

DCA is a classic investment strategy that our bots use to manage risk and enter the market intelligently.

> **DCA means investing a fixed amount of money at set intervals, which can lower your average purchase price over time.**

Instead of trying to "time the market" and buy everything at the single "best" price (which is nearly impossible), a DCA strategy buys small amounts as the price drops. This means you buy more of the asset when it's cheaper. Our **Booster Bot**, for example, uses a DCA approach to "buy the dip," accumulating the asset at progressively better prices during a market pullback.

#### Trailing Up & Trailing Down

This is a powerful feature that gives your bots the ability to adapt to strong market trends.

* **Trailing Up**: Imagine your grid is set between $2,000 and $2,500. If the market price surges to $2,800, a normal grid bot would stop trading. With "Trailing Up" enabled, the bot will automatically move its entire grid range upwards to follow the price. It's like your fishing net automatically floating up to where the fish are, ensuring you continue to capture profits in a strong uptrend.
* **Trailing Down**: This is the same concept but for bearish (shorting) bots. If the price breaks below your grid range, "Trailing Down" allows the bot to move its grid downwards to continue profiting from the downtrend.

# Understanding Profit, PnL, and APY

On your dashboard, you'll see several different metrics that measure profitability. They might seem similar, but they tell you slightly different things about your bot's performance.

<figure><img src="/files/H0RxeT7Bd93HtEEiqqrC" alt=""><figcaption><p>Compound your long-term treasury</p></figcaption></figure>

#### Realized Profit

This is the actual, tangible profit that the bot has secured and locked in. It comes from completed trading cycles where the bot has successfully bought an asset and then sold it at a higher price. This profit is "real" and is no longer affected by market fluctuations.

#### Total Profit

This is the **overall profit** of your bot at that exact moment. It's calculated by combining two components:

`Total Profit = Realized Profit (PNL) + Unrealized Profit`

* **Unrealized Profit** is the "paper" profit or loss on the assets the bot currently holds. It's called "unrealized" because it constantly changes with the market price and only becomes real when the assets are sold.

> **Example**: Your bot has a **PNL** of **+$50**. It is currently holding 1 ETH, which it bought for $2,500. The current price of ETH is $2,480, so the **unrealized profit** is **-$20**. Your **Total Profit** would be $50 + (-$20) = **$30**.

#### APY (Annual Percentage Yield)

APY is a **projection**, not a historical fact.

> **APY takes the bot's recent performance and estimates what the return on investment would be if that rate continued for a full year.**

Think of APY like a car's speedometer: it tells you your current speed, not the total distance you've traveled. A high APY means the bot is currently operating very efficiently. It's a great metric for comparing the *current* performance of different bots, but remember that it will fluctuate with the market and is not a guarantee of future returns.

# Universal Bot Actions (Pause, Stop, Duplicate)

From your Bot Dashboard, you have a powerful set of actions to manage your bots in real-time. You can find these icons by hovering over any bot in your list. It is critical to understand what each one does before you use them.

<figure><img src="/files/G9KzlC6GOtkoSCzwbHZg" alt=""><figcaption><p>Action panel</p></figcaption></figure>

Let's go through them one by one.

#### Duplicate (Copy Icon ❐)

This is a convenient feature for quickly launching new bots based on successful ones.

* **What it does**: Clicking the duplicate icon will open the "Create Bot" screen with all of the selected bot's settings and parameters pre-filled for you.
* **When to use it**: If you would like to duplicate the previous bot configuration:
  * Run the exact same strategy on a different trading pair.
  * Launch the same strategy with a different investment amount.
  * Make a small tweak to the settings and run it alongside the original.

#### Edit (Pencil Icon 📝)

This action allows you to modify certain parameters of a bot **while it is still running**.

* **What it does**: Clicking the edit icon will open a configuration screen where you can adjust settings such as your grid range or investment amount.
* **When to use it**: Use this if you need to make strategic adjustments to a live bot without stopping and starting it from scratch. For example, if you see the market trend is moving, you might edit the bot to adjust its trading range.
* **A Word of Caution**: Be careful when editing a live bot. Changing key parameters can significantly alter its strategy and performance based on its current position.

#### Pause (Pause Icon ⏸️)

Pausing a bot temporarily stops it from opening **new** positions.

* **What it does**: The bot will not place any new buy orders. However, it will continue to manage its existing position.
* **When to use it**: This is useful if you anticipate major market news or instability. You can pause the bot to prevent it from investing more capital, wait for the volatility to pass, and then resume it.
* **How to resume**: A paused bot will show a "Play" icon (▶️). Click it to resume normal operations.

#### Stop (Trash Icon 🗑️)

Stopping a bot is a **permanent action** that terminates the strategy completely.

* **What it does**: The bot is shut down and removed from your running bots list. It cannot be restarted.
* **CRITICAL: What happens to your funds?** When you click the stop icon, you will typically be presented with an option to either **sell the assets** the bot is holding at the current market price or **keep the assets** in your exchange wallet. Read this confirmation screen carefully.
* **When to use it**: Use this when you want to definitively end a strategy, free up the invested capital for other uses, and realize all final profits or losses.

# Anatomy of the "Create Bot" Screen

Creating a new bot is an exciting process, and we've designed our platform to make it as simple or as detailed as you want. This guide will walk you through the settings and options you'll see on the "Create Bot" screen, which are common to all bot types.

### Step 1: Launching the Bot Creator

To begin, click the green **Launch Bot** button located at the top right of your dashboard.

<figure><img src="/files/FbZhvWz9JX4tdKG7eXou" alt=""><figcaption><p>Launch bot button</p></figcaption></figure>

#### Common Settings

These first two settings are required for every bot you create:

* **Account**: Select which of your connected exchange accounts this bot should use for trading and funding.

<figure><img src="/files/AIo65HRRrJNNM5iynBO5" alt=""><figcaption><p>Select the exchange account</p></figcaption></figure>

* **Symbol**: Choose the cryptocurrency pair you want the bot to trade (e.g., `BTC/USDT`).

#### Simple Mode (Default View)

By default, you'll see the simple configuration, designed to get you started in seconds. The main setting here is **Investment**.

<figure><img src="/files/Tk57TYzNQAbaIfFbPPTp" alt=""><figcaption><p>The default simple mode focuses on your investment amount</p></figcaption></figure>

You can set your investment amount in two ways:

1. **Type the Amount**: Directly enter the amount of USDT (or other quote currency) you wish to allocate to the bot.
2. **Use the Slider**: Use the percentage slider to quickly allocate a portion of your account's available funds.

#### Advanced Mode (Customize)

For those who want more control over the bot's strategy, you can enable the Advanced Mode.

1. Find the **Customize** toggle at the bottom of the configuration screen.
2. Click the toggle to reveal the advanced settings.

# Booster Bot

The Booster Bot is our most popular strategy, and for good reason. It's a powerful and versatile tool designed to capitalize on markets that you believe are in a general uptrend, while automatically taking advantage of price dips along the way.

#### When to Use It?

The Booster Bot is ideal for **uptrending or volatile markets**. Use it when you are generally bullish on an asset but expect the price to fluctuate, creating "buy the dip" opportunities.

<figure><img src="/files/lw3NzDxFToN6EcFLgNrC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### How It Works

The Booster Bot is a sophisticated grid bot that combines two powerful strategies: **Grid Trading** and **Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA)**.

1. **Grid Trading**: The bot sets up a "grid" of buy and sell orders within a defined price range. It aims to consistently buy low and sell high as the price moves within that range, generating profit from small fluctuations.
2. **DCA "Buy the Dip"**: If the price drops, the bot uses a DCA strategy to buy more of the asset at progressively lower prices. This lowers your average buy cost, positioning you for greater profit when the price recovers.
3. **Adaptive Trailing**: This is the key feature. If the price breaks out and moves above your initial grid range, the bot will automatically **trail the range upwards**. As it does this, it also **adaptively adds investment**, deploying more capital to fully capture the momentum of a strong uptrend.

#### Key Advantages

* **Automates "Buy the Dip"**: Takes the emotion and guesswork out of buying into a falling market.
* **Maximizes Uptrends**: The adaptive trailing and investment feature ensures you don't miss out on profits during a strong bull run.
* **Profits from Volatility**: Generates income from small price swings even when the market is moving sideways within its range.
* **User-Friendly Presets**: Comes with `Aggressive`, `Balance`, and `Conservative` presets to match your risk tolerance without needing to configure every detail.

#### Potential Drawbacks

* **Risk in a Downturn**: If the market trend unexpectedly reverses into a strong downtrend, the bot will continue to buy as the price falls. This can lead to holding a significant amount of an asset that is decreasing in value (unrealized loss).
* **Requires Capital**: The DCA strategy can require a significant amount of quote currency (like USDT) to be effective, as it needs funds available to buy the dips.

#### Example Scenario

Imagine ETH is trading at **$3,000**. You launch a Booster Bot because you think it will eventually go to $3,500, but might dip first.

1. The price drops to **$2,950**. The bot places its first buy order.
2. The price continues to fall to **$2,900**. The bot places a second, larger buy order, lowering your average entry price.
3. The market recovers. When the price hits **$2,950** again, the bot sells the assets it bought at $2,900, locking in a small, quick profit.
4. Later, the price surges to **$3,200**, moving above your initial grid. The bot's "Trailing Up" feature activates, moving the entire grid higher and deploying more investment to continue trading at this new level.

Of course. Based on your more detailed descriptions, here is the improved and expanded "Configuration" section for the `Strategy Guide: The Booster Bot`.

This new version explains not just *what* each preset is, but *why* a user would choose it based on their market outlook.

#### Configuration

When creating a Booster Bot, you can choose from three distinct presets, each designed for a different risk appetite and market entry strategy.

* Aggressive: For Strong Bullish Momentum

This preset is designed for when you are highly confident the price will increase immediately. It performs a direct purchase to enter the market right away, then sets up a grid to sell high as the price rises.

  * Best for: Catching a fast-moving uptrend you believe is just beginning.
  * Behavior: Prioritizes immediate market entry over waiting for a dip.
* Balance: For Sideways or Gentle Uptrends

This is the classic grid trading setup. It creates a trading range with the current price right in the middle. This positions the bot to immediately profit from volatility, buying the small dips and selling the small rises.

  * Best for: Markets that are fluctuating sideways or slowly climbing higher.
  * Behavior: Starts working immediately to capture profit from small price swings around the entry point.
* Conservative: For Patiently Buying the Dip

This preset is for the cautious trader who wants to ensure they get a good entry price. It sets up a grid primarily below the current price and waits for a significant dip to occur before it begins to make its conservative purchases. Once it starts buying, it will trade within that lower range.

  * Best for: Users who are bullish long-term but expect a price drop in the short term.
  * Behavior: Patiently waits for the market to fall to its price targets before becoming active.

You can also use the Customize toggle to manually set advanced parameters like `Grid Step` and `Trailing Up`, giving you full control over the bot's behavior.

# Hedge Bot

The Hedge Bot is a powerful strategy designed to generate profit in **bearish (downtrending) or sideways markets**. Unlike "long" bots that buy first and sell later, the Hedge Bot works by selling an asset at a high price and aiming to buy it back at a lower price.

This bot operates using the **base currency** of a trading pair (for example, the ETH in an `ETH/USDT` pair).

<figure><img src="/files/1SJTXcjdluAR47A7xagW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### When to Use It?

The Hedge Bot is the ideal tool when you expect an asset's price to **decline or fluctuate within a range**. It can be used for two main goals:

1. To generate profit in the quote currency (e.g., USDT) from a price drop.
2. To increase your total holdings of the base currency (e.g., accumulate more ETH) by trading its volatility.

#### How It Works

The core logic of the Hedge Bot is simple: **sell high, buy low**.

1. **Initial Position**: The bot starts with a set amount of the base currency that you own (e.g., 1 ETH).
2. **Grid Setup**: It places a grid of sell orders *above* the current price and buy orders *below* the current price.
3. **Trading Cycle**: When the price rises to hit a grid line, a sell order is executed. The bot then waits for the price to fall to a lower grid line. When it does, the corresponding buy order is triggered, repurchasing the asset at a cheaper price and locking in a profit from the price difference.

**Note on Short Selling**: If you connect the bot to a margin or futures account and the initial asset is borrowed, this "sell high, buy low" process functions as an automated **short-selling** strategy.

#### Key Advantages

* **Profits in Bear Markets**: This is one of the few strategies that allows you to be profitable even when the market is in a downturn.
* **Accumulate Your Favorite Assets**: You can use the bot during volatile periods to strategically trade around your core position, with the goal of increasing your total coin holdings.
* **Capitalizes on Volatility**: It thrives in choppy, sideways markets by profiting from the frequent price swings.

#### Potential Drawbacks

* **Losses in a Strong Uptrend**: If the price rises significantly and does not return to the bot's grid, you will have sold your asset at what turned out to be a low price. In a true short-selling scenario, this could lead to significant losses if not managed carefully.
* **Requires Base Currency**: To run this bot, you must already own the base asset you wish to trade or have the ability to borrow it on your exchange.

#### Example Scenario

Imagine you hold **5 ETH**, and the current price is **$3,000**. You expect the price to be volatile and possibly trend down, so you launch a Hedge Bot.

1. The price rises slightly to **$3,050**, and your bot sells 1 ETH. You now have 4 ETH and the USDT equivalent of $3,050.
2. As you predicted, the market turns, and the price falls to **$2,950**.
3. The bot automatically buys back 1 ETH at this lower price, using $2,950 of the USDT it was holding.
4. **Result**: The trading cycle is complete. You still hold your original **5 ETH**, and you have an extra **$100 in profit** from the trade.

#### Configuration

The Hedge Bot comes with three presets to match your specific market outlook:

* **Sell high**: This preset is for when you believe the price is near a peak and will soon decline. It sets the **current price as the lower boundary** of its grid and places sell orders at higher price levels, patiently waiting for a final price spike before it starts selling.
* **Balance**: This is the ideal preset for a **sideways or ranging market**. It places the **current price in the middle** of the trading range, ready to immediately sell on small price increases and buy back on small price dips.
* **Bearish**: This is the most aggressive bearish preset. It's for when you believe the price will **drop immediately**. The bot will **sell a portion of the base currency right away** to enter a position, and then set up a grid to trade the subsequent price movements.

# Long Adaptive Range Bot

The Long Adaptive Range Bot is a strategic grid bot designed for bullish markets. It shares many similarities with the Booster Bot but offers a more controlled approach to managing your investment as the market trends upwards.

#### When to Use It?

This bot is ideal for **uptrending markets**. You should use it when you are bullish on an asset and want to capture profits from its upward momentum, but prefer to maintain a **fixed level of capital exposure** without automatically increasing your investment as the price rises.

<figure><img src="/files/IfPm6zgHlSxiHn5akdcv" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### How It Works

This bot uses a grid trading strategy to buy low and sell high within a defined range. Its key feature is how it intelligently manages its investment when the market is trending strongly.

1. **Initial Grid**: The bot starts by placing a grid of buy and sell orders, aiming to profit from volatility. Like the Booster Bot, it will buy dips using a Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) approach.
2. **Fixed Investment Trailing**: When the price moves up and out of the initial grid, the bot's **"Trailing Up"** feature activates. It moves the entire grid range higher to follow the trend.
3. **The Key Difference**: Unlike the Booster Bot, the Long Adaptive Range Bot operates with a **fixed investment amount**. To fund new orders in the higher range, it sells the assets from the bottom of the old range. This means it recycles its capital, and your total invested amount remains constant.

#### Key Advantages

* **Controlled Exposure**: Your total investment in the bot does not increase during a rally, helping you manage your risk and capital allocation precisely.
* **Capital Efficiency**: The bot continuously re-uses its initial pool of capital to trade in new, higher price ranges.
* **Fully Automated**: It automates the complex process of grid trading, buying the dip, and following a trend.

#### Potential Drawbacks

* **Less Aggressive in Rallies**: Because it works with a fixed investment, it may generate less profit than the Booster Bot during a very strong and sustained bull run.
* **Downturn Risk**: Similar to other long strategies, if the market trend suddenly reverses, the bot may be left holding assets that are decreasing in value (unrealized loss).

#### Example Scenario

Imagine you start a Long Adaptive Range Bot on ETH at **$3,000** with a fixed investment of **$2,000**. Your bot sets up a grid to trade between $2,800 and $3,200.

1. The price of ETH rallies to **$3,400**, moving above your grid's upper limit.
2. The "Trailing Up" feature activates, moving the grid to a new, higher range of **$3,000 to $3,400**.
3. To fund the new buy orders in this higher range, the bot automatically sells the ETH it was holding at the bottom of its old range (e.g., positions bought at $2,800 and $2,850).
4. The capital from these sales is then used for the new grid. Your total invested capital remains constant at **$2,000**, but your bot is now actively trading at the new, higher price level.

#### Configuration

When setting up this bot, you will define your initial **Investment** amount. You can then use the **Customize** toggle to access advanced settings like `Grid Step` and `Trailing Up` to fine-tune the bot's behavior to your exact specifications.

# Short Adaptive Range Bot

The Short Adaptive Range Bot is a strategic tool designed for profiting from **bearish (downtrending) markets**. It functions like the Hedge Bot but with a key difference: it operates with a **fixed investment amount**, offering a more controlled approach to trading a downturn.

#### When to Use It?

This bot is ideal for markets you expect to **trend downwards or be highly volatile**. You should use it when you want to profit from a price decline while maintaining a constant level of exposure, preventing your position size from automatically increasing as the price falls.

<figure><img src="/files/ZobkP2AbU9L5AuoyaNsu" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### How It Works

The bot follows the core "sell high, buy low" principle, starting with a base currency (e.g., ETH). Its uniqueness comes from how it manages its position while following a downtrend.

1. **Initial Grid**: The bot establishes a grid of sell orders above the current price and buy orders below it.
2. **Fixed Investment Trailing**: If the price falls below the initial grid, the **"Trailing Down"** feature activates, moving the entire grid range lower to follow the market.
3. **The Key Difference**: The Short Adaptive Range Bot operates with a **fixed amount of the base currency**. When the grid trails downwards, it uses the quote currency (e.g., USDT) profit from previous trades to help fund the sell orders in the new, lower grid. Your total exposure to the base asset remains constant.

#### Key Advantages

* **Controlled Risk**: By maintaining a fixed investment size, the bot helps you manage risk and prevents your position from growing larger as the market declines.
* **Capital Efficiency**: It effectively recycles capital and profits to continue trading as the price moves lower without requiring more of your base currency.
* **Automated Downtrend Trading**: It automates the complex process of profiting from a downtrend, including following the trend as it develops.

#### Potential Drawbacks

* **Less Aggressive in Downtrends**: Because it does not increase its position size, it may generate less profit than a standard Hedge Bot during a strong, sustained bear market.
* **Uptrend Risk**: If the market unexpectedly and sharply reverses into an uptrend, the bot will have sold your asset at a low price. In a short-selling scenario, this can lead to losses.

#### Example Scenario

You start a Short Adaptive Range Bot with a fixed position size of **1 ETH** when the price is **$3,000**. Your bot sets up a grid to trade between $2,800 and $3,200.

1. The price drops to **$2,700**, moving below your grid's lower limit.
2. The "Trailing Down" feature activates, shifting the grid to a new, lower range, for example, **$2,600 to $3,000**.
3. The bot uses the USDT profit it made from trades in the previous range to help fund the new sell orders in the updated grid.
4. Throughout this process, the bot's core position size remains **1 ETH**. It is simply trading around this fixed amount at the new, lower price levels.

#### Configuration

When setting up this bot, you will define your initial **Investment** in the base currency (e.g., the amount of ETH the bot will manage). You can then use the **Customize** toggle to access advanced settings like `Grid Step` and `Trailing Down` to fine-tune the bot's behavior.

## 📈 Market Trends Performance

### Bullish Market

During gradual bullish markets, the bot takes advantage of minor pullbacks within the trend, generating profits through multiple small trades. This active approach often results in higher cumulative gains compared to simply holding the asset.

### Bearish Market

Algo724's bot trading strategy excels in volatile markets characterized by price declines or sideways movements. By executing frequent buy and sell actions, the bot captures small profits during market dips and rebounds, providing consistent gains even in challenging conditions.

### Strong Bullish Market

In a strong bullish market, where prices surge rapidly with minimal pullbacks, the buy-and-hold strategy may outperform. The bot might sell too early, locking in smaller gains, while a simple buy-and-hold strategy captures the entirety of the upward momentum, resulting in potentially higher overall returns.

## 📝 Conclusion&#x20;

Choosing between the Algo724 bot trading strategy and the buy-and-hold method depends on various factors, including market conditions, fee structures, and individual investment goals. While bot trading can offer higher returns in volatile markets, the buy-and-hold approach is simpler and incurs lower fees. Optimizing bot strategies and minimizing trading fees are crucial for maximizing profitability.

By understanding the mechanisms and comparative performance of these strategies, investors can make more informed decisions tailored to their risk tolerance and market outlook.

# Tips for Different Market Conditions (Bull, Bear, Sideways)

Choosing a bot that aligns with the current market trend is one of the most critical factors for success. This guide provides tips on which strategies to consider for different market scenarios.

**Disclaimer**: The following information is for educational purposes only and is designed to help you understand how to use our tools. It is not financial advice. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

<figure><img src="/files/pGfBxQ7BmvajUM46meY4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

### Trading in a Bull Market (Uptrend) 🐂

A bull market is characterized by a sustained period of rising prices, with higher highs and higher lows. Your goal in this market is to capture the upward momentum.

**Recommended Bots**: `Booster Bot`, `Long Adaptive Range Bot`.

#### Which one should you choose?

* **Choose the `Booster Bot` if...** You are highly confident in the uptrend and want to maximize potential profit. Its adaptive investment feature will increase your position size as the market rallies, aggressively capitalizing on the momentum.
* **Choose the `Long Adaptive Range Bot` if...** You want to capture the uptrend with a more controlled, risk-managed approach. It trades with a **fixed investment size**, allowing you to profit from the trend without increasing your overall capital exposure.

***

### Trading in a Bear Market (Downtrend) 🐻

A bear market is characterized by a sustained period of falling prices, with lower highs and lower lows. Your goal in this market is to profit from the price decline.

**Recommended Bots**: `Hedge Bot`, `Short Adaptive Range Bot`.

#### Which one should you choose?

* **Choose the `Hedge Bot` if...** You want to aggressively trade the downtrend. It can increase its position size as the price falls, maximizing potential profit or asset accumulation during a strong decline.
* **Choose the `Short Adaptive Range Bot` if...** You want to profit from the downtrend while strictly controlling your risk. It operates with a **fixed position size**, ensuring your exposure does not increase as the market moves lower.

***

### Trading in a Sideways Market (Ranging) 🚥

A sideways market is when the price bounces between a relatively stable high point (resistance) and low point (support), without a clear long-term upward or downward trend. Grid bots excel in these conditions.

**Recommended Bots**: `Booster Bot` (Balance/Conservative presets), `Hedge Bot` (Balance preset).

#### Which one should you choose?

The choice here depends on your goal:

* **Choose the `Booster Bot` if...** Your goal is to **accumulate the quote currency** (e.g., USDT). The bot will use your USDT to buy the dips near the bottom of the range and sell higher, increasing your USDT balance.
* **Choose the `Hedge Bot` if...** Your goal is to **accumulate the base currency** (e.g., ETH). The bot will sell your ETH near the top of the range and buy back more ETH than it sold when the price dips, increasing your total ETH holdings.

**Pro Tip**: In a market you believe will remain in a clear range for a while, you might consider using the "Customize" settings to disable the `Trailing Up/Down` feature. This can prevent the bot from moving its grid out of the profitable range if a temporary price spike occurs.

### A Final Reminder: Not Financial Advice

Please remember that our platform provides **tools**, not financial advice. All information in this guide is for educational purposes to help you understand how our bots function.

All trading involves significant risk, and past performance is not an indicator of future results. You should always conduct your own research and never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. You are in complete control of, and solely responsible for, your own trading decisions.

# Automating with Webhooks

## 🔗 Automating Strategies with Webhooks

The Webhook feature is a powerful tool designed for traders who have their own custom strategies and indicators on an external platform. It acts as a bridge, allowing your custom alerts to automatically trigger trades on your connected exchange account through our platform.

In simple terms, you can design any alert on your preferred charting platform—based on price, indicators, or a custom script—and have it execute a trade for you instantly.

***

### Part 1: Creating Your Webhook

First, we need to create and configure a webhook endpoint within our platform.

1. Navigate to the **Webhooks** section from the main menu.
2. Click the **Create New** button.
3. Fill in the initial details for your webhook:

<figure><img src="/files/bqYr8pzZgUH3W515Y66D" alt="The &#x27;Create webhook&#x27; modal, first step, showing fields for name, account, operation mode, and symbol"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Webhook name**: A friendly name to identify your webhook (e.g., "BTC 15m RSI Strategy").
* **Exchange account**: The connected exchange account where trades will be executed.
* **Operation mode**: Choose how the webhook will handle signals. "Full" mode allows for both long and short positions.
* **Symbol**: The trading pair this webhook will control (e.g., `BTC/USDT`).

Click **Next** to proceed to the connection setup.

***

### Part 2: Connecting Your External Signal Service

This screen provides the two key pieces of information you need to paste into your external platform's alert settings.

> **Note**: The ability to send webhook notifications is often a premium feature on many charting and signaling platforms.

<figure><img src="/files/6JEO6YWRjl4LBaUJngBI" alt="The second step of webhook creation, showing the webhook URL and the JSON message template to be copied"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 1: Set Up Your Alert

In your external platform, create a new alert for your chosen symbol. This can be based on a price level, an indicator, or a custom strategy.

#### Step 2: Input Your Webhook URL

In your alert's notification settings, locate the **"Webhook URL"** field. Copy the URL from our platform and paste it here.

#### Step 3: Input Your Webhook Message

Copy the entire **Webhook Message** template from our platform. This is a specially formatted JSON message. Paste this directly into the "Message" or "Payload" text box in your alert's settings.

The `{{...}}` placeholders are special variables that many platforms can automatically replace with real-time data (like price, order side, etc.) when the alert is triggered. **Do not change these placeholders unless you are an advanced user who understands the required format.**

Once you've configured the alert, save it. Back in our platform, click **FINISH**.

***

### Part 3: Monitoring Your Webhook

Once created, you can monitor all your webhooks from the main dashboard.

<figure><img src="/files/57hPs4Oo2LuNqUa4a0M2" alt="The main Webhooks dashboard, showing a list of webhooks on the left and the details of a selected one on the right"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The list on the left shows all your webhooks, their status, and trigger counts. Clicking on a webhook will open its detailed view on the right, which contains three tabs:

#### Basic Info

This tab shows the webhook's configuration details and, most importantly, its **Current Position**. This allows you to see at a glance if your strategy is currently in a long or short position and its size.

<figure><img src="/files/CZyEZIHR6IsJPfFoReD9" alt="The &#x27;Basic Info&#x27; tab for a webhook, displaying configuration details and the current long position"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Orders

This tab displays a log of the **actual trades** that have been successfully executed by the exchange as a result of the signals. This is your confirmation that your strategy is running as intended.

<figure><img src="/files/x0SgPeB984L3wiOhZitf" alt="The &#x27;Orders&#x27; tab showing a list of executed buy and sell trades with their details"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Signals

This tab shows a log of every **incoming signal** received from your external service. This is a critical tool for debugging. If a trade doesn't execute when you expect it to, the first place to check is here. If the signal is not listed, the issue is with your alert setup on the external platform. If the signal is here but there is no corresponding order, please contact support.

<figure><img src="/files/FYrtYD9nynNPzcH9HSVC" alt="The &#x27;Signals&#x27; tab showing a raw log of incoming buy and sell signals with timestamps and prices"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Short Mode**

This unique analytical tool allows you to evaluate your position's performance from a different perspective.

* **How it works**: By toggling on **"Short Mode,"** the PnL and other metrics are recalculated as if your initial assets were **borrowed**. This is a powerful feature for advanced strategies, helping you understand the performance of a delta-neutral or hedged liquidity position.

# Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive from our users.

***

#### General Questions

**Is using a trading bot a guarantee of profit?**\
No. While our bots are powerful tools designed to execute strategies efficiently, they are not a guarantee of profit. Trading bots are subject to the same market risks as manual trading. Profitability depends on the strategy chosen, the bot's configuration, and overall market conditions.

**How much money do I need to start?**\
The minimum amount is determined by the exchange you are using (e.g., Binance), not by our platform. It depends on the minimum trade size for the trading pair you select. We recommend starting with a smaller amount that you are comfortable with while you are learning.

**Which bot should I use as a beginner?**\
The **Booster Bot** is our most popular bot and a great starting point for beginners. It's designed for uptrending markets and uses a "buy the dip" strategy that is easy to understand.

**Can I run multiple bots at the same time?**\
Yes, absolutely. You can run multiple bots on the same or different trading pairs and accounts simultaneously. Diversifying your strategies across different bots is a common approach.

***

#### Platform & Technical Questions

**Why is my bot not trading?**\
There are a few common reasons:

1. **Price is Outside Range**: The most common reason is that the current market price has moved outside the trading range you defined in the bot's settings.
2. **Insufficient Funds**: The bot may not have enough of the required currency (e.g., USDT to buy, or the base asset to sell) to place its next trade.
3. **API Key Issues**: Your API key on the exchange may have expired, or its permissions might have been changed.

**What happens if I lose my internet connection or turn off my computer?**\
Nothing! Your bots run 24/7 on our secure cloud servers. They do not depend on your computer or internet connection to function. Once you launch a bot, it will continue to trade until you pause or stop it.

**What are the fees for using Algo724?**

> Please refer to our official website's pricing page for a detailed breakdown of our subscription plans and any associated fees.

***

#### Security & Funds

**Where are my funds stored? Do I send money to Algo724?**\
This is a critical point: **You NEVER send funds to us.** Your funds **ALWAYS** remain in your own exchange account (e.g., Binance). Our platform simply connects to your exchange via API to execute trades on your behalf. We never have the ability to withdraw or move your funds.

**What happens when I stop a bot that is holding coins?**\
When you stop a bot, you will be given a choice: either instruct the bot to sell the assets it holds at the current market price or simply stop the bot and keep the assets in your exchange wallet for you to manage manually.

# Security Best Practices

At Algo724, we take security very seriously. However, the safety of your account is a shared responsibility. By following these best practices, you can add powerful layers of protection to your trading activities.

#### 1. Secure Your Algo724 Account

* **Use a Strong, Unique Password**: Do not reuse passwords from other websites. Use a password manager to generate and store complex, unique passwords.

#### 2. Secure Your Exchange Account

* **Enable 2FA on Your Exchange**: Your exchange account holds your funds, so it's even more important to secure it. Enable 2FA (like Google Authenticator) on your Binance or other exchange account.

#### 3. Master API Key Security

Your API key is the bridge between our platform and your exchange. Treat it with the utmost care.

* **NEVER Enable Withdrawals**: When creating your API key, ensure the "Enable Withdrawals" permission is **NEVER** checked. Our platform does not need it and will never ask for it.
* **Use the IP Whitelist**: Always use the "Restrict access to trusted IPs only" option when creating your API key. Copy the list of IPs provided by Algo724 to ensure the key can only be used by our secure servers.
* **One Key, One Service**: Create a unique API key specifically for Algo724. Do not reuse the same key across multiple services. Give it a clear label like "Algo724" so you can easily identify it.

#### 4. Beware of Phishing

* **Check the URL**: Always double-check that you are on the official `algo724.com` (or your official domain) website before entering your login details. Bookmark the correct site.
* **Be Skeptical of Emails**: We will never ask you for your password or API Secret Key in an email. Be wary of any unsolicited emails asking for your credentials.
